About

Bow Arkwright is an independent full-stack developer with a stubborn habit of writing poems in the terminal.

The music that matters: The 1975, Ben Howard, FKA twigs, Perfume Genius, Fiona Apple. The poetry that matters: T.S. Eliot, especially The Waste Land, which I have been reading on and off for years and still haven’t finished understanding — which is, I think, the point.

I believe in small tools, static sites, and records played at full volume when no one is home. I don’t believe in autoplay video, the word synergy, or albums with eleven versions of the same single.

This site collects the notes that don’t belong in the code garden — the ones about sound, language, and the weather inside people.
